Since our founding in 1921, we have dedicated ourselves to reaching out with open hearts and hands to all who seek a deeper connection with God. Guided by the Spirit, we strive to fulfill our mission: "To win the lost to Christ, disciple those we win by the Word of God, and send them out to win others."

About Macedonia Baptist Church
Founded in 1921, Macedonia Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith, resilience, and community in Akron, Ohio. Our congregation has been blessed with dedicated leadership, with only four pastors over nearly 100 years, and the last two pastors shepherding our church through the past 66 years.
Under the current leadership of Pastor Lorenzo Glenn, who has served since 1988, we continue to grow in faith and purpose. Our church’s mission is simple yet profound: "We purpose by the aid of the Holy Spirit to win the lost to Christ, to disciple those we win by the word of God, and then send them out so that they may win others."
With a rich history of spiritual service and a heart for community outreach, Macedonia Baptist Church invites you to join us in our journey of faith, love, and service to others.
